Good quality fast food based mostly on salad dishes. Fresh ingredients quickly assembled in tasty dishes. We stopped at Crisp and Green twice for lunch during our five day visit to Minneapolis. Crisp and Green is a restaurant that just recently opened two locations: one in Downtown Wayzata and another in the North Loop. It provides a great alternative to a normal fast food restaurant such as Chipotle. Crisp and Green offers many great and healthy options, such as salads, grain bowls and smoothies. They have many pre-made options as well as create your own options. The restaurant is a very upscale and modern feel to it, when you walk in you see a Chipotle-like service bar where your food is made in front of you.

Kris Humphries and team are veterans in the franchise industry and currently manage a successful fast casual burger empire across multiple states. The quality of the food, beautiful design, variety of meal options, dedication and experience of Steele Smiley and his team, and most importantly, the performance factors of the business, far exceeded my standards for an investment in a franchise concept. Salads fall into two categories: signature, which are greens-based, and grain bowls. The vegetables were all fresh, with nary a wilting, slimy spinach piece in sight. The roast chicken was tender and juicy. The dressing tasted strongly of fresh tarragon not a bad thing and there was a surprisingly generous amount of avocado. A bed of soba noodles was topped with spinach, pickled shiitake mushrooms, Persian cucumber, carrots, and bean sprouts, sprinkled with wasabi furikake , and tossed with a yuzo-miso-sesame dressing. The softness of the noodles cooked past al dente paired well with the crisp veggies, giving a nice balance of textures, and the cool salad benefited from the prickles of heat from the furikake and the tangy dressing.
