It looks as though the weather is going to settle down and our boats will leave the docks this weekend. Before the blow we had some great fishing reports and fish hitting the docks like Flounders, Tunas, Tilefish, Mahi and many Marlin Releases. With the weather being just right let just hope the fish will bite for all the boats headed out over the weekend. We will keep you posted as soon as we receive some reports. Upcoming events Saturday Sept.

Hi folks. The fishing continues to be a bit on the slow side with most anglers reporting mostly small fish being caught. Flounder action in the Rehoboth and Indian River Bays has been most productive during the outgoing tide. A few bluefish are being caught, especially in the Indian River Inlet on the incoming tide. If you see the birds working, you can be pretty sure the blues are roaming underneath. Just throw any cut bait or a shiny lure and you should score. Sea bass fishing has not been as good as I thought it would be.

We operate the Judy V. Dewey Beach. Outdoors Delmarva. See More triangle-down; Related Pages. Coastal Fisherman. We are seeing some nice blues at 3R's some tog in the inlet and Site 10 and some keeper striper in the inlet. These fish were caught over the past weekend.

Fishing has been very tough the last couple of weeks. The offshore tuna bite has slowed considererably with the water temps so wide spread that the tuna have just moved on past or have scattered so much they are hard to find. There have been some mahi caught, but not in the numbers that we would normally see for this time of year. The Sea Flame fished on July 28th and had 14 white releases. What a day for them. The inshore bite for flounder has been super tough this year in the ocean. You could fish all day and hope to get a keeper with many shorts being caught and very few keepers.

Visiting Bethany Beach and wanting to take a friend's young daughter fishing. Stopped in Hook'em We were in Bethany Beach for vacation and spontaneously wanted to do some fishing. This place We were a small group staying nearby. No one had fishing experience and this place provided rods and instruction as part of the 4 hour charter.

Delaware regional fishing report

With marine weather reports of heavy seas and northeast winds for the offshore waters over the past five days most bluewater captains have opted to stay in port. Boaters who made it out before the low pressure system moved up the coast had plenty of action to report, with tuna at the top of the list. Captain Todd Kurtz ran the Restless Lady out to the Washington Canyon for an overnight trip that produced 13 yellowfins, including two that weighed more than 70 pounds. The fish were caught on a mix of chunked butterfish and skirted ballyhoo. Anglers aboard the Marli fished the Washington on Sunday, despite the winds and heavy seas, returning to Sunset Marina with a 14 yellowfin tuna on ice and a white marlin release flag flying from the outriggers.
