I found a quote that is probably supposed to be perceived as uplifting. However, some people have said that it is inaccurate and debatable. I like it. Paul said. But a look at the lives of the saints … Yes, that is the spiritual path. As we get stronger, God allows harder battles to come our way.
But God is faithful [to His Word and to His compassionate nature], and He [can be trusted] not to let you be tempted and tried and assayed beyond your ability and strength of resistance and power to endure, but with the temptation He will [always] also provide the way out the means of escape to a landing place , that you may be capable and strong and powerful to bear up under it patiently In regards to temptation to sin he does Any other struggles you're right. Well if He will always provide a way out, then it's not with out Him. So there's no way to overcome sin except with Him. It would be too much, except He provides an escape.
I praise God that I live in a nation that is protected by soldiers, both men and women, who wake up every morning with just one goal in mind: to fight for freedom. Because of what they do the United States of America remains free. Soldiers spend many days, weeks, months and even years away from their loved ones to meet this goal. The love that they have is unfailing, and it is displayed by their bravery and dedication. Our heavenly Father is the author of unfailing love — steadfast love.
In order to fight hard battles, you have to be strong, you have to have courage, strength, integrity, an ability to understand what is wrong and to not ignore it if it is serious and serious spiritual consequences. Having been through trauma this year, devastated by so much hurt and betrayal and so many people failing me…again…. I just need to hibernate and recover and I know, I have been told, it takes time. I know God needed me in this latest trauma, He needed my courage, integrity, discipline for honesty and to not walk away from something serious, but it has come at a huge emotional and physical cost. I know God is pleased with me, to have gone through so much and I can sense I am being told to rest and that it is okay and needed. All soldiers need to rest after battles, especially when they are spiritual ones, as Satan worked hard through this, and I could feel that too.
People told me that when I evacuated for Katrina, when I struggled with bullying, when I fought insecurity, and when I watched my best friend suffer for years with cancer till she died. People told me that when doubts of God's existence swarmed my head and the people surrounding me challenged my beliefs. I soon learned that despite the cute Tumblr quotes with "God Gives His Toughest Battles to His Strongest Soldiers" edited onto a pretty ocean wave crashing on a beach, it is false. Moses was used to a lead God's people to the promise land despite a speech impediment. God used a young unmarried girl to be the mother of the Savior.
