Our Three Farmers
Colin, Dan and Ron are second and third generation farmers who have grown up on this land and are committed to its preservation, proudly numbering the prairies among the best places in the agricultural world. Farming, they are proud to say, is not simply a job, but a way of life, and one they are all too happy to share. Natasha Vandenhurk is CEO and part owner and daughter of one of the farmers. Natasha began her venture at Three Farmers at the age of 24 after graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Saskatchewan. She and her team at Three Farmers are focused on creating natural, healthy foods and retailing these foods through health stores and specialty shops across Canada. She joined her sister at Three Farmers Products after practicing the culinary arts in Toronto under celebrity chef Susur Lee. The goal was to create a strategic partnership with a dragon, spread the word about the product and use the money for marketing and distribution.

The imported fruit first hit Australian shelves in September last year and since then the Federal Government has allowed imports of Indonesian dragon fruit. So just imagine what next year will be like," he said. We might not even be here in the next two years. Mr Nguien and his wife are some of the largest dragon fruit farmers in the country with more than 3, trees, and that footprint was set to expand this year.

Once upon a time, there was a farmer called Ah Niu. Ah Niu was not a rich farmer but he was very happy. He worked in the fields with his only cow from dawn until dusk. This provided Ah Niu with vegetables to eat and extra crops which he would sell to the local villagers on market day so that he might buy other foods. Ah Niu and his cow worked very hard, but they were contented with their simple life and they did not complain as they had everything they needed. But one year, everything changed.
