The final category is: Mother of the Year and considering all Blanca has done for her children, even her mother, will she win or will there always be next year? Yet, thanks to Blanca, he gets matched with this man, not boy, named Keenan. He is the bartender for the balls and has had his eye on Pray Tell for quite some time but has been intimidated. But, thanks to Blanca, his number gets passed along and before you know it, Pray Tell and Keenan are having a proper date — at a fancy restaurant. However, Keenan notes he has dated positive folks before and with a passionate kiss to Pray Tell, it seems he will again. In this world, there are a swath of things which, upon you having that status, it makes dating daunting.
But in the show's greatest act yet, it delivered not the heaviest episode of the season, but the most emotional. Even in the face of some less than pretty losses, there was a lot gained. The episode was not perfect, and in fact, exposed a few of the series' weaknesses. The show has for most of the season juggled the stories of its ensemble well, handing the mic to various characters for fleshed episodic-driven arcs. The audience is given time to not only know but intimately understand each character while the series still moves its larger plot forward. Circling back to Damon after a near half-season shift away from his dance school arc felt somewhat jarring.
